Traditional Pull down Type Shop Blind.

Probably still the most durable type of shop blind available today, all hand built to much the same specifications they were 100 years ago, the only exceptions being seamless steel tube for the barrel and acrylic or PVC material for the covers, natural canvas is still available although not so widely used. Because of their construction using basic readily available materials, repairs or refurbishment of existing systems are usually straight forward and cost effective, which means the system can be kept operable and looking good for years.

Built in Folding Arm Shop Blinds

Constructed to be installed into purpose built box, or adapted to suit an existing blind box- depending on previous installation. Operation by manual rod crank, or electric with optional automatic sun and wind sensor, the flat front aluminium fascia and arms can be custom painted to match an existing shop front colour.

47 standard RAL colours are available at no extra cost.

The N Type is designed especially for a niche fitting.

The front rail closes the niche to the masonry / shopfront. The cover is therefore just as protected as the technology within.

Folding Arm awnings.

From top of the range full cassette type, to semi cassette or open fronted awnings with a separate top hood, end fix only or carry bar systems, and with special brackets for bungalows, there is an awning to suit your particular application or budget.

Maximum single unit size 7 meters wide x maximum 4 meter projection, awnings over 7 meter wide are coupled up to a maximum of 12 meters. (Two part cover).Standard operation is with rod and crank handle, but for larger size awnings electric operation is a must

Drop Arm Awnings

Ideal for either high level windows, or windows receiving a low sun, which require a deeper area of shade where Dutch awnings or folding arm awnings are not practical? Drop arm awnings are also well suited for commercial applications where sign writing is a particular requirement. A maximum width of 5 meters can be achieved with 2 arms or can be coupled up to 10 meters in width (two part cover) with 3 or more arms. Probably the most versatile of all awnings, also has a variable drop angle between 0 and 120 degrees, and is an excellent blind for using SOLTIS sunscreen fabrics which are almost transparent when looking out.

Dutch Awnings

Stylish and elegant , without doubt the most popular awning for shading smaller windows, but also looks superb on a large shop front and ideal for sign writing.

A very stable awning in strong winds comes with many frame variations with square or rounded corners, fixed frame or retractable, standard 4 or 5 bar frames, climbing hinge or jib frame, operation by a simple cord pull with tie off cleat.

Easy to take down for winter storage. This awning gives exceptional value for money and as with all the other awnings -is cost effective to recover the frame with a new fabric in years to come.

Conservatory roof awnings

Designed specifically to do this job of work, to stop heat and glair at source, with covers in either acrylic in a wide choice of colours and designs or special sunscreen fabrics to reduce the heat and filter the light. Frame colours come in white or brown (RAL 8019) as standard, or can be painted to any standard RAL colour. A fixed frame commercial quality awning mainly for the restaurant, hotel and pub trades, to provide shade and protection for larger areas. Robust aluminium components powder coated and enamelled in white or brown as standard or can be specially painted to a standard RAL colour of your choice .Quality fabrics in synthetic acrylic fibres, in a wide choice of plain or striped designs .Available options are- rain gutters and drain pipes, additional wind bars , side sheet protection and sign writing .Operation is by electric motor only with the option of wind sensors which automatically retract the awning in severe gusts of wind or heavy storms .

UNICA - SUN / WIND / RAIN CANOPIES

A robust aluminium or timber, fixed frame terrace awning, with a high quality retractable pvc cover, tensioned to guarantee the discharge of rain water.

Up to 6 mtrs wide with up to 3 mtrs projection on either side, designed to provide shade to terraces of cafés, restaurants, hotels and private homes .The HAROL Duostore comes in three standard widths of 3.6 m, 4.8 m ,and 6 m, with projections on each side of 1.5m , 2.0 m, 2.5 m and 3.0 m.

The Plaza terrace awning is available in two versions, Plaza Home and Plaza Pro, the frame is fixed and available in 47 standard RAL colours as standard or 5 Trend textured paint finishes.
The acrylic awning is fabric is available in 145 colours / designs, and retracts into a top cassette box for full protection when not in use.

The Terrazza is a glazed patio roof system, for an all year round usable outdoor space, constructed from a strong aluminium frame, with integral guttering, available in 47 standard paint colours or 5 Trend textured paint finishes, glazed with either polycarbonate or glass.

This versatile construction can also be used for garage car ports, door canopies, walkways, smoking shelters, covered play areas for schools, with dozens of possible shape and design variations.

Brise Soleil Fixed Louvre Screens

Dales Brise Soleil fixed louvre sunscreens help to reduce solar heat gain in a building, as well as adding a new dimension to the architectural design, and becoming an important practical and effective consideration in many new buildings, including offices and schools.

The Shadex eliptical section blades are of aluminium construction, the blades are set out at 45 degrees, usually mounted in a fixed horizontal format, but can also be fitted vertically or at a determined angle. Optimum projection ideally being 60% of the window height, exceeding this would provide little additional protection, and likely to reduce natural daylight.

Aluminium fixing brackets are produced to suit the structure, whether brick, through cladding to structural steel or curtain walling. Corners are generally factory made, requiring a special bracket to support the increased span.
Curves may be a pure radius, a series of facets or a bit of both combined, the hollow aerofoil blades are best installed in straight lengths, but the front facia can be curved as a good compromise.

Brise Soleil can be powder coat paint finished to most standard BS or RAL colours, to BS6496.

External Venetian Blinds

EVB`s are one of the most versatile and effective methods of solar screening, used for both Commercial and Domestic applications. With 5 slat sizes and shapes available, slats can be tilted to optimise shade and light with the varying suns angles. EVB`s can be lowered when the sun is shining and raised again when not required.
