UP & OVER GARAGE DOORS

Up & over garage doors are timeless in appearance and always up-to-date,
whether choosing one of the ribbed designs that blend in with almost any environment, or one of the panelled classic designs.

Offered in a range of sizes (including made to measure sizes), styles and low maintenance materials, ensures that theres a size, style or panel to suit all requirements. You can choose from our range of Steel, Timber, GRP (glass reinforced polyester) or PVC doors in a range of colours and decograin wood effect finishes.

Probably most popular type of up and over garage door is the canopy door, called so, as about a third of the door protrudes out from the framework when open, forming a ‘canopy’. Canopy doors are supplied up to 8'0" wide and 7'0" high and are ideal if you require a cost effective manually operated garage door, (Even though not ideal, these doors can be automated using a bow arm converter assembly).

The other type of up & over garage door that we offer is the retractable gear door which sits on an overhead track when in the open position and are ideal for both manual operation or automation. Retractable gear garage doors are available up to widths of 14'0" and are also offered in a range of colours, materials and finishes to suit all requirements.

Up & over doors are also available with matching factory fitted 60mm or 75mm steel frames, if required.

SECTIONAL GARAGE DOORS

One of the fastest growing garage door types in the U.K. the sectional garage door offers greater security, insulated options, a vertical lift action and also offers a vast range of finishes, panel styles and sizes. They are available in an embossed woodgrain finish, a smooth silkgrain finish, a decograin wood effect finish and a pre treated timber finish.

There are several different track arrangements available, to suit nearly all garage situations, which makes the sectional garage door one of the more versatile, adaptable garage door options available. The sectional door can be manually operated or automated and can be purchased in the following profiles, single skinned steel, double skinned 20mm/42mm thick insulated steel, double skinned 42mm thick insulated steel or the timber option.

Other advantages of the sectional garage door is that it is fully sealed all the way round when in the closed position and the set up enables you to utilise the maximum opening width and height in most situations.

ROLLER GARAGE DOORS

Choose either the "Compact" or the "Ultimate" rolling garage door and see your new garage door rise smoothly as you approach your driveway. Both doors are powered by the world leading "Somfy" motor and are operated by the 2 hand held remote transmitters provided as standard. Made to measure, these rolling garage doors are the perfect solution to utilise the full height and width of your garage opening, releasing extra valuable space.

The "Compact" and "Ultimate" rolling garage doors are available in a choice of several stylish, low maintenance colours and wood laminate finishes, eliminating the need for painting and ensuring your garage door continues to look good for years.

Other standard features of the "Compact" and the "Ultimate" roller doors are, an internal manual override, a wall mounted receiver with courtesy light and manual push button panel, photo cell safety beam, brush lined guide runners ensuring a smooth, quite operation, rubber strip to the bottom of the door forming a seal and allowing for a soft landing and a secuity locking system making the "Compact" and the "Ultimate" rolling garage doors extremely secure.

SIDE HINGED GARAGE DOORS

Our range of side hinged garage doors combine robust and reliable
performance with simple personal access. These are nearly always made to open outwards and are ideal not just for gaining access to park your vehicle but are very convenient if your garage is used mainly for pedestrian access.

Side-hinged doors come with equal 1/2 and 1/2 opening sized leaves, with the right hand leaf leading as standard. Other leaf configurations such as 1/3 and 2/3 opening and left hand leaf leading are available on request.

Contrary to popular belief, it is possible to automate side hinged doors. Most boom style operators combined with a swing arm conversion kit will automate most side hinged doors. You will however require a relatively powerful operator as there are more forces applied to side hinged doors than your standard up & over garage door.

Choose from a range of colours and materials such as steel, GRP (glass reinforced polyester) and timber and a range of sizes are also readily available.

GARAGE DOOR OPERATORS

Choose from our high quality range of garage door operators to suit every individual need. The ProMatic is a competitively priced door operator and is ideal if automating either single up & over or single sectional doors. The SupraMatic is perfectly matched to most up & over and sectional garage doors and is a heavier duty version and particularly comes into its own if the garage is double sized or if your garage door is extremely heavy.

Both options are suitable for retrofitting so whether you choose automation at the time of purchasing your new garage door or choose to automate your existing door, the ProMatic or the SupraMatic is the choice for you. Each garage door operator, whether the ProMatic or the SupraMatic, is provided complete with two hand held transmitters as standard.

From now on maintenance is a thing of the past. The patented toothed belt makes the ProMatic and SupraMatic maintenance-free, nothing needs to be oiled, re-adjusted or adapted.

REMOTE CONTROL HAND HELD TRANSMITTERS

If you had the need for more than two hand held transmitters, you can choose from our extensive range of additional hand held transmitters, push button key pads or fingerprint recognition entry systems as alternative or additional ways of operating either your garage door/doors or your automated gates.

Each handset can be programmed to operate more than one garage door and it is also possible to incorporate the operation or your automated gate system so that one individual handset opens all.

These doors have therefore been designed to also give you the ultimate in security.

There are 3 different types of door leaf construction.
1. "TC" is the code for the Top Comfort where the aluminium design panel is fitted within the door leaf frame giving the effect of an inner and outer frame.
2. "TC" with UPVC, this is for the same construction as "TC" but with a UPVC design panel
3. "TP" is the code for the Top Prestige construction, which is an aluminium design panel that covers the door leaf frame so that from the outside, you see just one frame. This can also be embellished with a rounded edge profile to match, that further enhances the design. The Top Prestige construction is the top of the range.

Front doors are available solid or incorporating glass panels in a range of stylish glass finishes. You can either choose the standard white RAL 9016 colour or choose any colour from the spectrum of RAL colours available, for your door. You can then finish off with a stylish handle of your choice, creating a crisp look and design, in keeping with the style of your property.

GARAGE SIDE DOORS

Side doors are extremely practical if, for example, you want to fetch garden equipment or other items out of the garage quickly without having to open the main garage door. We can supply a range of side doors that have the same appearance as a range of our garage doors. The accompanying photograph impressively demonstrates how the raised panels of the garage door leaf and the side door are perfectly aligned.

On request, side doors can be supplied with glazing and attractive special handles. Side doors in steel are available in a range of colours from the RAL colour chart.
Matching side doors are also available in a range of timber infill designs using pre-treated hemlock or Nordic Pine
